 As a highly experienced community association law attorney, Susan R. Rapaport heads the DARS Community Association Group, representing condominiums, homeowners associations and housing cooperatives throughout the Baltimore-Washington corridor. In addition, Susan represents emerging and established businesses, providing them with a wide range of legal services. An accomplished writer, she is a frequent contributor to The Business Monthly, a newspaper serving Howard County and the Baltimore-Washington corridor, as well as community association-related publications. Legal subjects addressed in Susan's frequent articles and seminars include covenant enforcement, legislation affecting community associations, business formation, and assessment collections. Active in the community, Susan serves on the board of directors of the Howard County Arts Council, and is currently serving as secretary. She is a Member and the former Co-Chair of the Maryland Legislative Action Committee of the Community Associations Institute. Susan is the Past Chair of the Equal Business Opportunity Committee Awards Program and the former President of the Business Women's Network of Howard County. She is a graduate of Leadership Howard County, Class of 2002. Finally, Susan is a member of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce and both the Washington D.C. and Chesapeake Chapters of the Community Associations Institute. She was educated at Brandeis University and the American University, Washington College of Law, where she was a member of the Administrative Law Journal. Susan is admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals and the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
