 Focusing on the legal rights of families and individuals, Angela B. Grau represents clients in guardianship actions, will contests and other fiduciary litigation matters. Bringing an impressive background in elder law to the DARS team, Angela advises clients in fiduciary and general civil litigation matters. She is also frequently appointed by the Circuit Court for Howard County to represent alleged disabled persons in guardianship matters, and has also acted as guardian for disabled adults to ensure that their property is protected.
Angela is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), serves on the Elder Law Section Council of the Maryland State Bar Association, and is a Past-President of the Howard County Chapter of the Maryland State Women's Bar Association. She was appointed by the Court of Appeals of Maryland as a member of the Character Committee for the Third Appellate Circuit of Maryland. A frequent lecturer on fiduciary litigation and elder law issues, Angela was invited to participate as an instructor at a training session for judges on issues relating to guardianship law in the state of Maryland. She is also an experienced writer on these subjects. Her written work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Business Monthly, and the Bar Bulletin. Angela was educated at Towson State University and at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate Degree in 1993. She is admitted to the Maryland Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for Maryland, and the United States Supreme Court.
